One

Nairobi – Amboseli National Park

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Genet African Safaris representative for a short safari briefing. Thereafter, depart Nairobi and drive south to Amboseli National Park, enjoying scenic views along the way with Mount Kilimanjaro rising majestically in the distance. Arrive at your lodge in time for lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive across the open plains of Amboseli. This park is famous for its large herds of free-roaming elephants and breathtaking views of Africa’s highest mountain. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Two

Amboseli National Park

Enjoy a full day of wildlife viewing in Amboseli National Park. An early morning game drive offers the best chance to see wildlife against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro before returning to the lodge for breakfast. Later, you may relax at the lodge or head out for another game drive to explore the swamp areas, which attract elephants, hippos, and a variety of birdlife throughout the day. Afternoon game drives provide excellent opportunities to spot lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, giraffes, and zebras. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Three

Amboseli – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart Amboseli and drive through the scenic Great Rift Valley, stopping at viewpoints along the way. Continue to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive around Lake Nakuru, renowned for its flamingos and rich birdlife, as well as black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and zebras. Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara National Reserve

After an early breakfast, depart for the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve, driving through Narok and the rolling landscapes of southern Kenya. Arrive at your camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, set out for your first game drive in the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife reserves. The vast plains are home to lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, and large herds of plains game. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

Five

Masai Mara National Reserve

Spend a full day exploring the Masai Mara with morning and afternoon game drives, or opt for a full-day safari with a picnic lunch in the bush. The reserve offers exceptional wildlife viewing year-round, and during the migration season (July–September), massive herds of wildebeest and zebras dominate the plains. Optional activities include a Maasai village visit or a hot air balloon safari (at an additional cost). Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Six

Masai Mara – Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart for the Isebania border. Upon completing immigration formalities, you will be met by your Tanzanian Genet African Safaris driver-guide and continue into Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Arrive in the Serengeti in time for lunch or enjoy a picnic en route. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive across the endless plains, home to an incredible diversity of wildlife. Dinner and overnight at your tented camp.

Serengeti National Park

Enjoy a full day of game drives in the Serengeti, one of the world’s greatest wildlife destinations. The park hosts millions of animals, including lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and vast herds of wildebeest and zebras. Your guide will tailor the day’s activities to maximize wildlife sightings. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final game drive in the Serengeti before proceeding to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full day of wildlife viewing with a picnic lunch. This UNESCO World Heritage Site is home to over 25,000 animals, including black rhinos, lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and an abundance of birdlife. In the late afternoon, ascend the crater rim and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro – Arusha – Kilimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast, depart from the Ngorongoro area and drive back to Arusha through the scenic highlands of northern Tanzania. Upon arrival in Arusha, you will continue to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward international flight. This marks the end of your unforgettable Kenya & Tanzania safari adventure with Genet African Safaris, filled with remarkable wildlife encounters and lifelong memories.
