Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your Genet African Safaris professional guide. After a short meet-and-greet, you’ll be transferred to your hotel in Arusha, the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Along the way, your guide will introduce you to Tanzania’s culture, landscapes, and friendly people. Once in Arusha, enjoy time to relax and recover from your journey as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, arriving before midday. Famous for its giant baobab trees and large elephant herds, Tarangire offers exceptional wildlife viewing, especially along the Tarangire River. Enjoy game drives through the park, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, and a variety of birdlife. A freshly prepared lunch will be served during the day, allowing you to relax while surrounded by nature. In the late afternoon, exit the park and drive to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
