Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a Genet African Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel. Accommodation prior to the start of the safari can be arranged upon request at an additional cost.

Your safari adventure begins with an early morning departure from Nairobi, heading southwest through the scenic Great Rift Valley to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge before setting out for your first afternoon game drive. Explore the vast savannah, spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and, with some luck, cheetahs or leopards, while watching the sun set over the golden plains. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight under the African sky.

Spend a full day exploring the wildlife-rich landscapes of the Masai Mara. Begin with an early morning game drive to catch predators returning from the night’s hunt, followed by breakfast. Continue with either a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch in the bush or two shorter drives with a break at the lodge. Keep your eyes open for the Big Five, vast herds of wildebeest (seasonal), and a variety of bird species. Optionally, visit a local Maasai village for cultural insight before returning to camp for dinner and storytelling around the fire.
