Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a professional Genet African Safaris representative and transferred to your hotel in Arusha town. Later, you will meet your dedicated safari guide for a detailed briefing about your upcoming adventure, including essential safari information and what to expect during your journey.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha at 07:00 AM and depart for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most captivating wildlife destinations. The park is renowned for its iconic baobab trees, vast landscapes, rich birdlife, and large herds of elephants—among the highest concentrations in the country. Enjoy an extensive game drive as you explore the park’s diverse ecosystems and wildlife. After the safari, you will proceed to Karatu for a relaxing evening at your lodge.

Two

Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Early in the morning (around 06:00 AM), you will depart for the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most extraordinary natural wonders. Descend into the crater for an unforgettable game drive, where you may encounter the Big Five and a remarkable concentration of wildlife within this vast, unbroken caldera. You will enjoy a packed lunch at the scenic Hippo Pool Picnic Site before ascending the crater rim and beginning your journey back to Arusha. En route, there will be time to stop at local curio shops for souvenirs.
